A delegation of the international company DEKONTA (https://www.dekonta.cz/en/) arrived in Ukraine. DEKONTA is a provider of a wide range of services and solutions for the protection and remediation of environmental elements. The main office is located in Prague, the representative offices are located in almost all countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the activities even reach Africa and Asia.
The purpose of the company's visit is to help Ukraine, which has two components. The first is a purely humanitarian mission, in which the company hands over a water purification plant of its own production free of charge, and also visits hot spots in the east of Ukraine with the aim of conveying to the Czech society the acuteness of the problems of the war in the conditions of the increasing fatigue effect.
The second component is the identification of elements of the environment (soil, water bodies, etc.) damaged by hostilities for the purpose of their further restoration. At the same time, DEKONTA undertakes the search for financing for restoration works, realizing that there are simply no funds for this in a country at war.
The delegation is headed by the founder and permanent manager Pavel Moteil, accompanied by project manager Martin Polak. The first stop of the delegation and the first meetings with representatives of the authorities, the private sector and volunteers took place in Vinnytsia. Czech experts also visited the Inter-Eco office to familiarize themselves with the activities of our organization. The visit is planned for two weeks, many meetings and visits are still planned ahead.
